This production line, which includes spray coating lines for complete vehicles and components of automobiles, motorcycles, electric vehicles, and bicycles, is an automated assembly line comprising multiple pieces of equipment. Its primary function is to provide corrosion protection and a decorative finish for components such as bumpers, wheel rims, and instrument panels. It features a conveyor system that links together stages such as pretreatment, painting, and drying, and utilizes robots, environmental protection systems, and intelligent recognition technology to ensure efficient and stable production.
Shot blasting and sandblasting are used to remove scale and rust from metal surfaces and increase surface roughness, thereby improving coating adhesion. For smaller precision parts, degreasing and phosphating processes are employed, followed by the application of a zinc-rich or epoxy primer to provide strong electrochemical protection and prevent rusting in atmospheric environments. The process is equipped with drying, leveling, and rapid cooling systems to ensure a durable and uniform paint finish. For small and medium-sized parts, a suspended conveyor chain is used, allowing workpieces to move at a constant speed through each functional zone. Heavy equipment workpieces are secured in specially designed heavy-duty lifting slings, remaining in the spray booth for coating and in the curing oven for an extended period.
The system includes powder coating lines, liquid painting lines, and electrophoretic coating lines, utilizing lightweight overhead conveyor chains or floor-mounted tracks for material transport. Curing ovens feature infrared heating and hot-air circulation; when combined with UV coatings, they achieve curing in seconds, reducing line length and improving space utilization. High-performance electrostatic spray guns are used, and spray angles are adjusted to ensure that powder is applied even to internal corners and holes. Robots automatically identify hardware components on the hooks and dynamically adjust the spraying path.
Using automated powder coating and liquid painting lines, we perform full-body coating on air conditioner outdoor units, washing machine cabinets, and complex-shaped kitchen appliances after stamping and forming. The pure water pretreatment process employs multi-stage degreasing and DI (deionized) water spraying, while baking is conducted in clean hot-air circulation ovens with strictly controlled temperature distribution to ensure no color variation. The home appliance powder coating line utilizes a large cyclone and two-stage filter cartridge recovery system, achieving a powder utilization rate of over 98.5%.
