Cathodic Electrocoating Tank

There are two types of electrophoretic coating methods: cathodic electrophoresis and anodic electrophoresis. When the workpiece is used as the cathode, it is called cathodic electrophoresis; when the workpiece is used as the anode, it is called anodic electrophoresis.
Principle of Electrophoretic Coating: Electrophoretic coating involves the application of an electric field to move ionized coating particles dispersed in water, causing them to be deposited onto the workpiece surface, forming a protective coating. Electrophoretic coating is a relatively complex electrochemical reaction process, accompanied by other reactions such as electrolysis, electrodeposition, and electroosmosis.
